Child support and quality of life?

LEGALLY... The ex that is paying the child support has no say in what the mother uses the money on. Wether it be his children or a vacation to Jamacia. The courts only go by figures. Dad + Mom = $$$ for kids divided by parenting time. The only exception being that the mother is using the child support for illegal things like drugs etc. Now morally speaking, I think in a perfect world some of the money should be put aside for the kids it is intended for but the court has ordered it to be used to care for the kids as if the both of the biological parents were still together. I do agree that the father should seek custody because it sounds like he can give a better life to the 2 kids and he has a better chance at getting custody due to the mother's situation. As long as he doesn't have any child abuse allegations or criminal legal problems.
