Need suggestions for relocating to North Carolina?

You may want to consider checking out the Boone/ Blowing Rock/Banner Elk area for real estate. They're beautiful places to live and within reasonable commuting distance to Hickory. Asheville is one of my all time favorite places to see and visit but it's also pretty pricey. However, if you prefer living closer to Asheville check out Hendersonville, Arden and Black Mountain for real estate. Hope this helps.
