What are your thoughts on adequate protein and such?

Hey, I hope this helps. I am a male, 19 year old, and have been vegetarian for almost 4 years now. At first i had a very hard time trying to eat an adequate amount of protein, but for the past couple years i have beeing doing very well. From what I see, you not getting a lot fo protein. Remember that fruits and vegetables, although healthy, are still very high in sugars and carbs. I do eat eggs, and consume some dairy products, so i would definately suggest vamping up the amount og eggs you eat in the morning. Also greek yogurt (found in the yogurt section) is a very good source of protein as well. But beware of gelatin, because gelatin is an animal biproduct, just take a quick glance at the ingrediants. As far as other foods, i would suggest Seitan, Tempeh, Tofu, and other bean based protein products, or just beans in general. They are imcomplete proteins, but still do the job of getting your protein levels higher, and definately try to avoid processed carbs, and eat more whole grains, and rices.
