What is rong with my hamster??? HELP!!!!?

Me and my mom found my hamster like wet, and his eyes are like kinda swollen so we wiped him of with a wet towel, now he is drying and his eyes are better but i just realised that his like, cheek bones are extremely low, you now the same way he looks when he puts food i his mouth to save it, well he looks like that but there is no food! please help!!!! what is it? is he ganna be alright??im soo worried!
