How do I find The water line into my house?

If you have a pier and beam home you can sometimes look under the house and get an idea of where the main comes in, I can almost find it everytime on a pier and beam. On a concrete slab it can be more difficult due to landscaping installed over original shut off valve. Sometimes you can get a good idea from the city water meter location straight to the house, (sometime a hose bibb/water spigot will be close by.), but lines are not always straight from the meter. If the line is copper a plumber with a line locator can probably find it. Crazy dream?

I had this dream where i was with my 11 yr old son in a strange house with 3 strange people 2 women and 1 man. Next thing I know is my son is gone and I can't find him. I ask the 3 people and they wont help, also the house looks really gray and gloomy. The man keeps waving a sword at me and i eventually get the sword and stick him in qaurters through his body and he dies. 1 of the girls comes up to me and says where he is. He is in the refridgerator on a shelf but he is a baby. I pick him up and he is ok, so I talk to him and he answers me like an 11 yr. old just like his age now. I get him to the paramedics and he is ok. Then I wake up. Any dream advice on this one?

You are skinny, must be attractive if people want your body, carefree, and active which insinuate happiness and a healthy body. Is it ok to put my lovebirds outside the house?

I'm living here in southern california and I'm somewhat concern about the sudden change of temperature at night. I'm wondering if this can harm my lovebirds at all if I put them outside the house permanently. Why does my cat randomly vomit?

We got our cat from a rescue shelter near our house. She was 2 when we got her and she has already had kittens and been spayed. We took her to the vet when we first got her and they told us that she has feline . I guess this means that she can have problems with a runny nose, watering eyes, etc.. but can that cause her vomiting? Sometimes she wont vomit for weeks and then all of the sudden she will vomit over the night. We feed her dry food. Sometimes her vomit is very solid like she didnt chew her food and sometimes its more digested and mushy. Its almost like she is eating too fast and throwing it up. We were going to try wet food but we have another cat and he is on a pretty good diet and likes his food (nutro). We though hers was food alergies so we tried all of the natural foods but the stuff we have had the best results on is friskas (I think) mixed greens. I know that stuff isnt good for her either but she doesnt vomit as much on it. She is also a smaller cat, so maybe we should feed her kitten food so its easier for her to chew? I am very confused on what is wrong. Anyway what do you all think?

ASD with pregnancy?

Has anyone ever experience an ASD (atrial septal defect) a.k.a. a hole in your heart while pregnant? I'm 26 weeks and my doctor just discovered I had one. I've been having really bad dizziness, shortness of breath (I can't even walk from one room to another without being out of breath) and chest pains. My doc ordered some tests and discovered I had that. My question is... has anyone else ever experienced this? I'm meeting with a cardiologist this week but have questions now. Has anyone actually went into labor with this? I just don't see how I can do it... I can't hardly breathe now with little exhertion, how's my heart going to handle going through labor? Just curious of personal experiences.

Being left in the dust at work?

I have worked for a warehouse company for over 6 months now. The boss has 4 people that have worked for him no more than 3 months and a girl that has been there 19 months. Throughout the day people can either get items from the warehouse from a stack of papers with the customers name and place it in an aisle for a worker to deliver the next day, they can also put chairs together with screws and bolts, unload trucks of furniture or get rid of trash with a compacter, break down cardboard and sweep the warehouse. I tried to emble the charis one day without anyone telling me how to do it and I don't feel they were put together like they should and he never asked me to work in that area again. I pulled items from what is listed on the paper and I did it for a while and now he will say he doesn't want me to do this anymore. So basically everyday I clean up and do the trash and may unload a truck when it arrives. The boss never pointed out any mistakes to me. Sometimes he will tell me to sweep the warehouse even when it has been done several times already that day. I don't communicate much with the boss and come across as being shy. I sometimes feel he underestimates me and doesn't know for sure who is making the mistakes. I won't to be productive but it seems like I am not allowed to do what everyone else is doing. I feel I am being used and taken advantage of and don't feel like continuing to work for him. The boss must want to keep me though or he would have got rid of more before 6 months of employment. Is this situation berzerk and what gives here?

you cant get rid of them, but going on the birth control pill helped mine, they still hurt but not as much, and then i take ibuprofen, if it gets really bad your doctor can prescribe something, but birth control and ibuprofen works wonders. How can I help my really close friend stop smoking/drinking?

Why am i losing weight so slowly?

I'm 5'3 and I used to weigh 185. The first 23lbs came off easily (3lbs p/week and this was done under the supervision of a nutrionist) but ever since 162 i've struggled hard to lose weight. I'm at 149 now and it has taken a week to lose just ONE pound! Why is this? I have skin like you. Oily skin can make some products look blotchy at the end of the day. So what I use as a base is....Well, it looks like a lot of brand names, so I would just look up Farle Couture, & it's a very good one. It also has SPF 20 in it, so it will protect you from the sun. Don't use a bunch since it's sort of on the expensive side. You don't need that much, anyways. & then put on some mineral powder on top. I use Mabelline New York Mineral Powder. It has micro minerals in it & the powder's pressed. You just use a little pad & rub it on your face. The base I used for that stuff though before, made me look very fake & robotish. So, Farle Couture is very good & doesn't blotch! :)

Go for a walk, chew gum, take a shower, remind yourself you aren't going to smell like smoke, don't hang around other smokers that will offer you a cig, drink a gl of juice. Don't do anything you do while smoking. It's a really hard habit to break but you can do it. Yes, I quit. Yes, it's hard to do. Yes, I liked it. Yes, I'm a non-smoker now. I just got sick of the smell and always having to shower more than once a day to pretend to others that I didn't smoke.

He just turned 60 a year ago and is in great health, starting to travel the world, writing a book about teaching, and living his dream. You can not expect that in one year you would receive the best pay or given gratitude, you have to earn that with experiance and the only way to get experiance is to stick with it. How can I keep a dogs kennel warm outside in winter? read plz 10 points.?

I am a 14 year old girl. I have a 3 year old english springer spaniel, whose fur grows long, but usually we take her to the groomer to get it cut short so its easier... But now my mum babysits this little girl for 1 day a month. The girl and the dog dont get on at all lol (long story!!) so now my mum has banned the dog from the house while the girl is here!! (mum doesnt like the dog really) So, even in december (in england) the dog has to be outside most of the day, for 1 day a month and theres nothing i can do about it! We have a large fenced in garden. She has a dog house, and i am going to but a heating pad for it. I am planning to stuff the dog house with loooads of blankets, heat pad, get her to lay down, and tuck her in lol. But i doubt she'll stay like that! She loves being outside, but I am afraid shes gonna get tooo cold! I am going to buy her a doggy coat, in the winter her fur will be grown out long, and she will have food/water. I can also sit with her in loads of blankets in out garden shed which is really cozy lol. But i dont know what to doo. My 6 year old mini schnauzer has been unable to walk very far without his back legs giving out?

I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this sudden onset of symptoms? he will walk and then all of a sudden - bag legs wobble and he is unable to continue - and stops. Which lens should I purchase for my Grand Canyon hike?

The Nikon 12-24 doesn't have a lot of great reviews. Cost too much and doesn't perform accordingly. Would an 18-55 get me decent photos? Or should I go a bit wider? I would like a lens that is versatile (weddings, portraits, indoors, etc). The Nikkor 18-55 only goes to an F-Stop of 3.5. Is that enough for indoors? The Tamron 18-200 doesn't have great reviews either. What about Sigma 10-20? Is that too wide? Would I get use out of it after the trip?

In my opinion, no. First of all, it looks like you just randomly grabbed cards and put them in. Make a theme, (spellcasters, zombies, aliens, machines, etc.) they work better together. Second, hydrogeddon's effect is useless unless you have at least two in your deck. Third, make a strategy with combos.Get certain cards that work well together. Example: amphibious bugroth MK-13 + a legendary ocean(or umi), bugroth's effect says it can attack directly when "umi" is on the field. A legendary ocean says it is treated as umi. Bullfighting. Is it a sport? If so why is one team deliberately hurt to help the other side?

I think Bullfighting is incredibly cruel, barbaric and cowardly. My question is "Why do people consider it a sport when you deliberately maim one side to help the other? Sports are competitions between teams or individuals to see who is the best at that sport. That's my understanding of it anyway. The picadors place swords into the neck muscles of the Bull to weaken him so the Matador can place another sword into the Bulls heart. That's cheating! You can't remove the quarterback from a football team and make the center hike the ball and p it at the same time. It wouldn't be fair and they certainly wouldn't score. So why would you take away the bulls ability to fight with all his strength. How can you call it a sport when one side has a definite advantage. Yes! The Matador has a big advantage when he fights a Bull who is tired and weakened by treating him as a pin cushion for entertainment. I hate Bullfighting and trying to call it a sport is simply wrong.

Would You Agree That Patriotism Is Destroying America?

Isn't the point of patriotism to disagree with bad decisions? To question our government employees? They are just employees after all right? They are nothing compared to the majority. If they do a bad job and we tell them and they say their decisions represent OUR America. If we look at the Constitution then look at how it's violated how can we be patriotic if our leaders lie and violate their positions. When slavery was around was I patriotic if I didn't agree with George Washington owning slaves? Of course I was. The only thing that defines you as a patriotic person is following the principles in the Constitution. We should never support bad decisions by the government that violate the Constitution. OK... life has been complicated. I divorced.... now I find out that after filing proceedings in the court for our property settlement that it will be 18 months until our court date. I am in financial ruins... he has all my ets (well some percentage of them which I guess will be resolved in court). I just didn't think that it would be another 18 months of my life that I have to wait for financial security. I have a 2yo son, part time job which doesn't cover our expenses...... meanwhile ex hubby is paying me $160 per month child support and paying $1500 per month for his new car and $400 for his ferrari. Please someone tell me how I cope for another 18 months! Bearing in mind that my salary prior to having our son was paying for our entire mortgage and my ex husband has his own business where he hides all his income? I'm so stressed right now.... I was stupid and didn't save a penny.... He always said that I should pay the mortgage so he could "grow" his business. Please someone tell me how they got through this financial abyss. I held off doing the court thing because he wanted time to get his affairs in order and he would "look after us". We separated 2 yrs ago. I guess I'm just a fool. My youngest daughter is in the Army, has been in the Army since February 3, 2009. She went to South Carolina for her basic, from February 3, 2009 until April 17, 2009. At the time when my youngest left for (basic) Army, she nor I knew where my oldest daughter and my grand-kids where abouts were. My oldest daughter, left the city where she resided with my youngest daughter and me (I'm her mom). We hadn't heard from my oldest for about two years. The employer stated, "My Human Resource Support Representative called back the telephone number that was supposely left by my youngest daughter." My daughtest provided a signed letter, and copies showing that her sister, who is currently serving Our country, didn't call in for her. While in basic, for you to make any calls was a privelged. Secondly, the HR representative for the Director of Human Resources, reported that my oldest daughter call in to say she wasn't coming into work. This all took place after April 10, 2009. Now April 10, 2009, is very important date, because this is when the Director of Human Resources said, "I'm going to have to let you go because of your credit history". Althought, the Director of Human Resources denied saying this to my oldest daughter. By, the first Appeal Hearing from TWC ( Over the phone, swearing in, under oath to tell the truth), the questions that was asked from the Appeal Officier, "Oldest daughter can you prove to me that you were indeed fired because of your credit history?" Appeal Officer said, "Can you provide a doent wth the Company name, that says, this employer did indeed check your credit? My oldest daughter replied, yes. I received an Employee Handbook that reference, checking my credit history. But, the Director of Human Resources, stated, "That's not true." And most importantly, the Director of Human Resources sent a packet to the Appeal Officer, my oldest daughter, and her Lawyer, copies of the Employees Handbook, the Pre-Employment Inquiry Release form, to include her application, and e-mails that were dated after April 10, 2009. These e-mails, range from April 14-19, 2009. Well after April 10, 2009. My oldest daughter provided, witnesses, and the Director of Human Resources provided everything else. And, the Director of Human Resources sent a letter that was included in the packet saying, Final Worked Day, was April 10, 2009. The Director of Human Resources signed and dated this doent. Im afraid to move to California because of past failure?

Im 20 years old. For as long as I can remember, ive always wanted to move to california. I have two relatives that live out there that I see every year since i was a baby. I wanted to go to college there but during my senior year of high school, my mom pressured me to stay on the east coast. I wind up going to a branch campus of penn state. I did a year there, but I didnt know how to mange my time there and i wind up failing a few cles. Because of this, I lost my campus housing and I was forced to move back home. he following semester I went to community college to pretty much start over and pick my grades back up. Ive been there 3 semesters already. My mom wants me to stay in jersey when I apply for another university. However,at first I was gonna settle and go to school in state, but now ive been having these thoughts about moving to california and attending one of the state schools. My grades at community college have been steady. I know if I were to tell my mom I wanted to go to california, she would try to halt my plans with negative thoughts and trying to guilt trip me into going. she never wanted to move to cali, but after I failed penn state, that just gives her something else to hold against me. I dont blame her, she lost out on 20,000 dollars because of my mistake at penn state. But i think for her she is just scared of loosing her baby. Im male by the way. I think my biggest fear is going to california, but then repeat the same mistake there like I did at penn state. Im afraid of failing again. Not that I would fail on purpose but thats wht scares me.But this is the only way i see making it to california, i dont want to move there for just parties, i want an education there and I love the atmosphere.Sorry if im venting too much. I'm just going to respond to the people who are saying a pillow case is cruel. A pillow case is much better than a critter keeper or cage to temporarily hold a snake. This is what all professionals use and it actually helps to calm the snake since it can't see out. Hey, I hope this helps. I am a male, 19 year old, and have been vegetarian for almost 4 years now. At first i had a very hard time trying to eat an adequate amount of protein, but for the past couple years i have beeing doing very well. From what I see, you not getting a lot fo protein. Remember that fruits and vegetables, although healthy, are still very high in sugars and carbs. I do eat eggs, and consume some dairy products, so i would definately suggest vamping up the amount og eggs you eat in the morning. Also greek yogurt (found in the yogurt section) is a very good source of protein as well. But beware of gelatin, because gelatin is an animal biproduct, just take a quick glance at the ingrediants. As far as other foods, i would suggest Seitan, Tempeh, Tofu, and other bean based protein products, or just beans in general. They are imcomplete proteins, but still do the job of getting your protein levels higher, and definately try to avoid processed carbs, and eat more whole grains, and rices.

How can I tame my wild (crazy) kitten?

I have a 6-7 week old kitten that is having behavioral problems at what seems like a young age. She has these moments usually when it's racing around the house acting like a wild cat, biting anything that moves and hiding under things, like it's practicing for life in the jungle. Alot of the times the kitten will nip and scratch hands and feet and I'm afraid of that only getting worse and more serious as it gets older. Another thing is sometimes when it's approached or about to be picked up suddenly it arches it's back, gets this crazed look and hisses or spits, though never actually lashing out. How do I nip aggression in the bud before it goes to play aggression to serious aggression and help her adjust to living with people. I do try to pet and cuddle her very often and I'm home most of the day, but she's only affectionate if she's ready to go to sleep, at all other times she's searching for fingers and toes to attack... So it started 18 days ago. My fiance and I were talking on skype pretty much every night. Well our last night we talked she I told her that her visa is being processed to bring her to America and she said she cannot wait. I asked her if she has any concerns and her answer was yes I worry you change mind. Well that will never happen. So the next day I get an email saying she is ill. Well she had cancer a few years ago so her health is a big concern for us both. I made her some promises last time we were together. They were I would never cheat on her, never leave her and never change my mind about marrying her. It was an easy promise to make I love her very much. Well I logged on skype that night I knew she would not log on but I will not stand her up she would feel I left her. She was married before and her husband left her the day she found out she was pregnant. Well the next tuesday she sends me another email saying she loves me and now her son is sick too. Well I log on skype again that night like I said I will not stand her up. Oh side note she loves to get emails from me and I use spypig to notify me when she opens them I like to know she is reading them. Well wednesday I log on skype and she is not there. About once a month or so she goes through a phase where she does not want to talk for a few days and pushes me away. She gets lonely and fearful I leave her. Well I usually talk her through with emails. Well it is wed. and nothing no email or text saying she is better or worse. I am getting a bit worried at this point. Thursday no skype no emails nothing I am now thinking maybe she is going through a phase on me. I start sending her text messages. Friday no skype or emails form her I am now panicking. She is not opening emails and that should tell me she is sick but I am panicked. No matter what she always opens emails even if she is mad at me. Well I send her more text messages basically saying why are you not talking to me? Why no skype blah blah blah. I send her like 6 texts. I know I am a moron. Sat. no skype or messages I send her more text messages she finally sends me a message saying " i am busy why you send so many messages"? Well now I am full on panicked busy!! Too busy for your fiance I am thinking. So sunday no skype or email so I send her more messages trying to get her to talk. Monday and more texts from me finally she is mad now and says I told you I am ill I cannot come to America. Well I know she wants to marry she talked about it a lot and made me promise to marry her. Well since then I have sent her few text messages and just emails but I have been trying to get her to talk. I have done what I always do and sweet talk her into talking to me again. This time it is not working. I made her pretty mad. I also think with her health she is worried about such a big move. She knows no one her and gets scared easily. She is fearful I leave her or cheat on her. I have asked her to end it if she does not love me or does not wish to marry. She reads the emails but does not respond.
